TALK Exploring the films of kA'Ramuu Kush"
October 27th, 2008 at 7PM at the Ensemble There will be a screening of Mr. Kush's three short films including "Love Aquarium", "K(no)w De: Tales" and "Dear Me". (see below for storylines) Hosted by the Students of SC136, Section 02 of the Tavis Smiley School of Communications at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, there will be a Question and Answer session with Mr. Kush. A Networking Reception will immediately follow. The purpose of this project is to give individuals aspiring to a career in film the opportunity to engage in one-on-one dialogue with an established filmmaker as he shares his experience, expertise and wisdom in the areas of writing, directing, producing and acting. This is a FREE event and the public is invited to attend and support this endeavor. Mr. Kush is an American Film Institute (AFI) Directing Fellow, has produced and directed six short films. His work has been described as "ahead of its time in measure, tone and subject matter."
