Filmmaker/Director Amanda Shelby (a.k.a.: Eboni Knight) invites the public to the Houston Premiere of her short 20-minute film "Love Wouldn't Count Me Out". Ms. Shelby will be premiering this film Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 7PM at the Barbara Jordan - Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs on the Campus of the Texas Southern University campus, Auditorium, Room 114. If you recall, Amanda was in our November issue of C-47 Houston magazine when she was shooting it and still in production. Using a Canon XH A1 Digital Cam, the film brings out to life a heart-warming drama of love, hate, revenge and betrayal.

Barbara Jordan - Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs Building is located on the corner of Cleburne and Tierwester, the auditorium, room 114 is on the first floor of the building. Parking on the street or where designated.

Tierwester is located between Ennis and Scott. One can park at the Cleburne Garage at Sampson across the street.

This is Amanda's first film effort and from what we have seen this film is exceptional. "Love Wouldn't Count Me Out" stars Kendrick Brown and Jordyn Lorenz. Also cast are Victor Kizzine Jr., Brod J and Lateace Town-Cuellar.  This film is rated PG-13.
