The director is often described as being the person with the overall "artistic vision" on the set. But how does the director get that vision onto the screen? Story is key. Whether it's deciding what "look" the film should have, how actors should deliver lines or where the camera should be placed... it's all about the story. This is true whether you are directing a feature film, episodic television or movie-of-the-week. Acclaimed film and television veteran Neema Barnette will break down the role of the director, focusing on how to "see" your film before you shoot it, how to visually (and artistically) create a scene, as well as demonstrate how to direct your cast and crew to get your "vision" onto the screen.
