The 6^th Annual Lone Star EMMY Awards 

The Emmy Awards-Lone Star Chapter.

The Lone Star EMMY Chapter is part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the standard-bearers for excellence in the television broadcasting industry and the gatekeepers of the prestigious regional EMMY Awards in Texas.

The Lone star EMMY represents the most experienced and talented television professionals from all disciplines of the industry and from all of Texas 19 Television markets.

The 6^th Annual Lone Star EMMY Awards was held at the Verizon Wireless Theater Saturday, October 18^th,  2008 in Houston, Texas. 

Below are the Houston winners. Congratulations to all  of the EMMY winners. Of special interest are Mr. Jeremy Desel of KHOU-TV Channel 11 who was awarded three EMMY’s and Producer Ernie Manhouse of PBSHouston Channel 8 who, with his team Mr. Matthew Brawley and Mr. Fujio Watanabe together, brought in two EMMY’s for Photographer and Editor of “The Last 24”.
