Houston filmmaker and director James Coate is pleased to announce that he will be screening his new short film, "Junie's Leverage", the third in a trilogy of short films. The film is a modern day allegory about a young girl who uses her wits, charm and the help of a new found friend to solve a problem for her father. According to Mr. Coate, "I feel it is my best effort to date in terms of story and production quality." This 10-minute film was shot in HD and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro. Cast includes: 

Courtney Rose as "Junie Starr", Laura Coate as "Faith", Ralph Kramer as "Brad Starr", Scott Jefferies as "Pop Jurgensen", Charles Campbell, Jr. as "Hooded Figure", Lisa DeHoyos as "Ella Jungensen", Jacqueline Covington as "Nora Banks" and special guest appearance by Pearland Mayor Tom Reid.

The Production crew includes:  Producer, Writer and Director James Coate, Director of Photography Keith Smith, Editor David O'Brient, Jr., Assistant Director Dallas Box, Production Assistant Jorge Ruiz, Jr., and Casting AnnMarie Giaquinto.
