In honor of winning The 2008 Lone Star Emmy Award for "Best Magazine Program/Series", Producer, "Houstonisimo" Host and C-47 Houston magazine’s February Cover interview, Ms. Nellie Gonzalez and her production team were presented with a special proclamation Tuesday, February 3, 2009.  In the City Counsel room on the second floor at Houston's City Hall, Mayor Bill White officially  proclaimed February 3rd to be "Houstonisimo Day".  The Mayor presented the team with the proclamation and Nellie brought out the Lone Star Emmy for everyone to enjoy.
