Call for Film and Soundtrack Submissions: The AVSwap2008-Houston competition is calling on filmmakers and composers to submit their films and music for this years' AV Swap that brings together the creative minds of musicians and filmmakers in an experimental collaborative event. The event starts with a drop off of films and music July 18th. Participants either submit a video piece without a soundtrack or submit an audio piece without any visuals. (Pieces should be no longer than 5 minutes.) On Sunday, July 20th, the AV Swap will take place and teams will have 3 weeks to create an original short film or an original soundtrack for their respective swaps. After all is done, the teams will return to submit their works and their creations will be screened at the Angelica Film Center. This should be a lot of fun!
