The Houston Film Commission's "Texas Filmmaker's Showcase" will be screening the short film works of Austin filmmaker Chris Ohlson at  Dean's Credit Clothing, Downtown Houston, Thursday September 4, 2008, TOMORROW NIGHT.  The Filmmaker's Showcase and Mr. Albert Cervantes, Deputy Director of the Houston Film Commission, will be hosting this special screening of this Texas filmmaker.  Mr. Ohlson was an Associate Producer for the 2008 feature film, "American Teen", which won the "Directing Award" in the Documentary category at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, was the 1st Assistant Director of the 2nd Unit of the feature film "Baghead" which was also entered at the festival and  acted in "Goliath". Mr. Ohlson has produced numerous films projects from 2000 to 2006. The screening will include 7 films Chris has written and directed including "Trauma" 2006, "Clock Paint Eyeball" 2006, "My Electric Bill" 2006, "Cremains" 2005, "The Spin Cycle" 2004, "Expecting" 2007 , and "I Love You" 2002. Mr. Ohlson also directed but did not screen "11th & Congress" or "The Meat Market" 2003.

This is a FREE screening and one that should not be missed! The screening will begin promptly at 8:30PM

Mr. Chris Ohlson will  be in attendance for and Question and Answer session.
